Energy Efficiency First! Progress made at the product level – now let’s follow through at system level with ambitious EED and EPBD reviews!

Last night's informal deal struck between the Council and European Parliament on a new energy efficiency labelling framework marks another step forward for Europe towards boosting the energy efficiency of individual appliances. The principle of 'Energy Efficiency First' is now a reality at the product level - now it is time to focus on the systems integrating these products, with an ambitious approach to the review of the Energy Efficiency and Energy Performance of Buildings Directives.
