Orgalime président, Martine Clément focuses on the needs of our industry in Europe and meets dutch minister of economy Mr Brinkhorst

As part of Orgalime's efforts to raise awareness of the shortfalls of EU research policy among EU officials and other stakeholders, our President Mrs Clément recently spoke about the problems which SMEs and mid-size companies face in Europe in this area, at a conference entitled ‘Investing in European Research; realising the potential of public-private interaction’. The conference was organised by the Dutch Presidency of the European Union, and brought together the 25 Director Generals of the economy/industry of Member States, business and political leaders as well as representatives from research institutes.
