Orgalime press statement on steel

Orgalime is calling on the steel mills and steel traders to ensure regular supplies, to respect their contracts, to adopt a more transparent approach to the market, a better price communication strategy for both large and small customers and to treat their long standing customers as they expect, that is as customers. This can only be in their own long-term interest.

Orgalime will also be asking the European Commission to closely monitor the situation and to defend the principles of free trade in the area of steel products.
